In the 15th minute, Haraszti’s shot from the left marked the first noteworthy attempt, but goalkeeper Oroszi made the save. Three minutes later, the visitors took the lead when Zamostny, arriving at the near post following a cross from the left, nodded the ball under the crossbar (0-1). In the 21st minute, Murka headed over the bar following a cross from the right by Virágh, and in the 35th minute, Haraszti fired over the goal from 19 yards out. In the 37th minute, Krisztián Kovács met Murka’s cross from the left but shot over the bar, and then we equalized in the dying moments of the half: in the 44th minute, the ball deflected off Dóra into his own net (1-1)! Shortly before the half time whistle, Spandler misjudged the ball from the left, sending it wide, and the half ended with the team all square.

We made three substitutions at halftime, bringing on Bertók, Varga, and Simut. In the 57th minute, a visiting defender cleared the ball after our corner kick, and in the 67th minute, Spandler headed wide following a cross from Simut on the right. In the 71st minute, Bertók launched a counterattack, but his shot whizzed past the right post. In the 77th minute, Zamostny lobbed the ball over the onrushing Nagy and wide of the goal; a minute later, Zsóri’s dangerous shot deflected off our defenders for a corner as the action continued.
In the 90th minute, a huge chance went begging as a defender cleared Simut’s five-meter shot for a corner. Nothing changed in the five minutes of stoppage time, and the match ended with a 1-1 draw.
