Vidi extend contract with Zsolt Kojnok

We have extended the contract with our home-grown defender, Zsolt Kojnok!

Born in Mór in 2001, Zsolt Kojnok grew up at Vidi between 2012 and 2023, during which time he was also invited to join the U16 national team. After a two-year stint in Mezőkövesd, he returned to Székesfehérvár in the summer of 2025. In the past half-season, he played in seven NB II league games and one MOL Hungarian Cup game in red and blue, but was unavailable to the team for several weeks in October due to injury.

"After my return in the summer, the season didn't start well for me. I had to compete with a lot of players for my position, and at first, the head coach counted on me as a left back, but I got down to work and worked hard. I have a very close connection to Videoton, I grew up here, so I was very happy when managing director Attila Balogh and sporting director Nemanja Nikolics approached me about extending my contract. This is my home, this is the team I feel closest to, so I am very happy that I can continue to play football here and that they are satisfied with my work. I want to help Vidi in the long term, both on and off the pitch. I'm not one for big plans, the most important thing right now is to return in the best possible condition at the beginning of January, to prepare well, and then to perform better in the spring season than we did in the autumn.
