Tamás Horváth helped the U19 national team reach the elite round

Tamás Horváth and Hungary's U19 side qualified for the elite round of the European Championship qualifiers, while Ciprián Csák played in two winning friendly matches for the U16 national team.

The men's U19 national team has qualified for the elite round of the European Championship qualifiers, where it will compete against 24 of Europe's best teams in the spring. The elite round groups will be drawn on December 10. Hungary finished ahead of Bulgaria and the Faroe Islands in its group. The men's U19 national team has now qualified for the elite round for the seventh time in 10 years.

Videoton FC Fehérvár player Tamás Horváth came on in the 66th minute of the 1-1 draw with Bulgaria and started in the 3-0 win against the Faroe Islands, playing until the 60th minute, while he came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute in the 2-1 loss to France.

The U19 national team will not have any joint programs this year, but the elite round groups will be drawn on December 10. The matches will be held in the spring of 2026, with the winners of seven groups of four qualifying for the European Championship in the summer, which Wales will host.

Our U16 national team played two warm-up matches against the Faroe Islands. Vidi youngster, Csák Ciprián, came on in the 89th minute of the first match, which ended in a 2-0 win, and in the 63rd minute of the second match, which ended in a 5-0 win.
