"If we continue to play with this attitude, we will see the results"

Tamás Pető and Tamás Feczkó gave their reactions to the league match, which ended in a 2-1 home victory.

Tamás Pető:

“I think that those who watched the match live or on TV today enjoyed themselves; it was a real derby. Both teams played well, scored goals, wanted to win, and despite the defeat, I feel that we were a little closer to victory. We had more chances, but two lapses in concentration led to two goals, which is unacceptable at the home of the league leaders, and unfortunately, we were punished for them. I congratulated my team on their performance today. We tried to put pressure on our opponents for 90 minutes, which we mostly succeeded in doing. This team is capable of much more than its current position in the table suggests, and if we continue to play with this attitude, we will see the results. In my opinion, a red card should have been given in the first half. Dániel Németh, who had to be substituted at half-time because of this, suffered two fouls that could have resulted in red cards individually, but the referee made a different decision. Then the player who should have been sent off scored the winning goal. Perhaps if a different decision had been made in the first half, the match would have turned out differently.

Tamás Feczkó:

“I am very happy that we were able to start the spring season with a win, defeating a very well-prepared Vidi team. After taking the lead, they quickly equalized, which did not help our game. The opponent closed down the spaces well, and we made poor choices in building our attacks, so we had to make changes during the break. After that, we got behind our opponents many times, but we couldn't create any real scoring chances. Both teams fought very well, there were many transitions in the match, and Zsolt Haraszti's two classy solutions meant that the Kispest goalpost had to be on our side. In the last 15 minutes, we tried to hold on to the result, and to do so, we changed our game plan."
