5-1 victory away at Csákvár with Németh scoring four goals

In the 18th round of the Merkantil Bank Liga NB II, our team played away at Aqvital FC Csákvár. Head coach Tamás Pető sent out the following starting eleven: Nagy G. - Virágh, Kocsis, Spandler - Kovács K., Murka, Somogyi, Zsótér - Bedi, Németh, Haraszti. Strong winds and cold weather awaited the teams in Csákvár, which made it difficult to play continuously throughout the match.

The match did not start well for us. In the 5th minute, Péter Bányai scored into the right side of our goal after a pass from Haragos on the left (1-0). However, we didn't have to wait long for the equalizer. In the 10th minute, after a free kick from Haraszti on the right, Németh put the ball into the net following a scramble in front of the goal (1-1). In the 16th minute, Nagy blocked Szabó's shot, and our defenders cleared the rebound. In the 28th minute, the home team blocked Zsótér's shot. In the 36th minute, Haraszti's shot was saved by the goalkeeper, and a minute later, Németh was played in and shot into the bottom right corner (1-2)! In the 40th minute, Lorentz shot wide, then in the 41st minute, Bedi scored a good goal with a shot into the top right corner (1-3), giving us a two-goal lead going into the break.

After the break, the wind was blowing in favor of the home team, but we managed to score more goals! In the 51st minute, Virágh crossed from the right, Németh arrived and sent the ball into the goal (1-4). Seven minutes later, Németh struck again, scoring our fifth goal and completing his four goals in the match (1-5). The last time a Vidi player scored four goals in a league match was in 1995, when Zoran Kuntics scored four goals in a 6-3 win over Parmalat-Vác. Lorentz's shot was deflected for a corner by Nagy, Simut and Varga came on in the 71st minute, and Dékei also entered the field in the 80th minute.

In the 85th minute, Dékei, who had just come on, found himself in a great position, but failed to control the ball coming in from the wing. Geiger and Kecskés also took to the pitch in the final minutes of the match, but the result remained unchanged, and we secured an important victory at Csákvár's home ground with a confident performance.
