The two managers shared their thoughts on the first leg match in Sweden.
Marko Nikolic:
"It was a very tough and physical match inside a stadium with a lovely atmosphere. Both teams had chances in both periods. I feel that we played well in the first half, with organisation and we were also dangerous. Malmö pushed us back for the first 15-20 minutes of the second half, but we sorted things out and the game balanced out. We also hit the bar in the minutes that followed. We are going home with a good away result. It will be a very tough second leg for both teams. Nothing has yet been decided this evening. As I have said previously, Vidi are a battling team and we are proudly fighting for the club colours and Hungarian football. We will continue our fight and dream next week so that we can have a chance to make the group stage. I would like to thank the supporters that travelled out and backed us.

Uwe Rösler:
"We gave our opponents a present with that goal. I felt that we were better in the second half. The game did not turn out surprisingly for us and things went the way we expected it to. Our opponents were dangerous on the counter attack. The players are broken but I am not as I believe in this team and feel that we will go to Hungary and make it into the next round. We have always managed to score an away goal in our games so I hope that it will be the same. Perhaps Vidi have a slight advantage but nothing has been settled. I hope that the match officials will be better in the second leg. However, I do not want to say anything more about this as I want to sit on the bench in the second game. We made two changes as we had injuries but I do not know the situation with them yet."
