Felcsut centre

Videoton FC, like many international sides, have a modern technical centre that they can be proud of. The centre is located in Felcsut, which lies to the west of Budapest, just off the M1 motorway.

Felcsut is also home to the Ferenc Puskas football academy, which is the brainchild of Viktor Orban, the current Prime Minister of Hungary, and a keen supporter of Videoton FC, who attends most matches at the Sostoi stadium. The Felcsut site houses modern and "special" training halls and pitches, both indoor and outdoor. These were planned from concept by the former Videoton team manager, Gyorgy Mezey. The facilities are constantly being updated and expanded, to provide both Videoton's footballers, as well as the young boys of the Puskas academy, every chance of developing their skills. Quality is far more important than quantity at Felcsut. There are special tasks for everyone, which will help to improve the players skills or where he is currently lacking.

Just as important is the players constant development, which is measured through tests, twice a year. The exact dynamics of the development can be seen in a precise way, as well as the quality of the coaching staff there. The tests reveal where a player needs to improve, and compares him to his age group.
