The Bissau-Guinea defender has made the move from Portuguese side CD Aves signing a contract deal until June 2016.
Muhammad Cande, also known as Mamadu, was born on the 29th August 1990, who plays his football, most regularly at the left back position. Despite his young age, he has already represented his national team in several international matches. Mamadu has made 28 appearances for CD Aves in the Portuguese league. He is a consistent performer, becoming a regular for his side. The Bissau-Guinea defender also likes to link up with the attacks, and has also played on the left wing in the past. The young defender has signed a three year deal with Videoton FC.
"I am delighted to continue my playing career at a club such as Videoton, who regularly feature in European football. I would like to become a champion and help Vidi win trophies. I know both Marco Caneira and Stopira from the current squad, and even faced the latter player in a recent international match, when we came up against Cape Verde Islands. I can hardly wait to begin pre-season with my new club." - said a delighted Mamadu to the club's official website.
